Tuscola County Doe Derby

The Doe Derby is something that we are just starting in Tuscola County.  There are other counties that have been doing this program for a few years, but this will be our first year. It will be on Dec. 12 with more info to be provided to all Tuscola County communities in the near future. 

What is a Doe Derby?

A Doe Derby is a food drive event aimed at collecting venison from hunters to help address the deer population issue and support local food assistance programs.  Hunters can donate venison harvested from does which we will process at no cost to the hunters and distribute to local food pantries in Tuscola county to assist those in need.
